Integrated 200TPH Bluestone Crushing Solution: Reliability in Hard Rock Processing

1. The Challenge

A major aggregate producer in Southeast Asia required a 200TPH capacity line to tackle Bluestone—a dense, high-hardness basalt known for destroying standard equipment. The project demanded a solution that could withstand extreme Mohs hardness while delivering a consistent cubic grain shape for high-grade construction contracts. The primary goal was to minimize wear-part replacement cycles while maintaining peak throughput.

2. The HSM Technical Solution

To solve the abrasion issue, HSM engineers developed a durable crushing flow utilizing secondary cone technology and tertiary roller adjustment:

Stage 1: Primary Reduction: We deployed the PE Series Jaw Crusher. This unit provides the necessary compressive force to break down 500mm bluestone boulders into manageable sizes for the secondary circuit.

Stage 2: Precision Hard-Rock Crushing: A high-performance Cone Crusher was utilized as the secondary workhorse. Its inter-particle crushing principle is ideal for bluestone, ensuring high reduction ratios and excellent product geometry.
